Any student interested in Junior High Cheerleading next year (incoming 7th and 8th grade students) are invited to attend the MSHSAA One Day Cheer Clinic that will be June 11th. We will provide transportation to and from the clinic. The cost to attend is $35 this year that is due at the time of registration and that includes a t-shirt. To register, please reach out to junior high football cheer coach, Tori Ward (Wohlers) BY MAY 5TH!
Please note that attending this cheer clinic does not guarantee a spot on the squad next fall, but it does teach valuable skills that will be helpful to anyone interested in cheerleading.

Mrs. Kiger’s class is currently reading the book Maus, a graphic novel about a Holocaust survivor. Part I of the the novel is labeled “My Father Bleeds History.” While reading the book, the students discuss the topic of community history. Yesterday, the students spent the day interviewing community members about a major historical event they have experienced. The students will then turn these interviews into their own comic books in order to represent the stories they have took the time to hear and learn about.

At today's Rachel Morris (Schuyler County) Relays, Scotland County's Kwyn Hamlin and Frederik Winther both earned 1st place finishes in the high jump. In a touching moment, both athletes were presented, by members of her family, with trophies in remembrance of Rachel.
