Just a reminder today is the last day of registration for grades 7-12 where students will get their picture taken for the yearbook, get their technology, and check their classes for the upcoming semester.

Thank you to Luke Myers (coach Haire’s cousin) for donating and building a new bench for the softball field. Luke needed a project to get his Eagle Scouts. The Scotland County Lady Tigers appreciate it!!

Parent Player Meeting - Varsity Girls Golf Please note the following update to the information shared yesterday regarding the varsity girls golf parent player meeting. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 11, at 5:00 p.m. in the high school library. Please use the southeast (office) entrance to enter the building. If you're unable to attend the meeting, please make alternate arrangements. The first practice of the season will also be held on Tuesday, August 11, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Timber Ridge Golf Course.

Parent Player Meeting The parent player meeting for fall sports and activities is scheduled for Monday, August 10, at 5:00. Since the gym won't be available that night, all meetings will be held in individual classrooms. Meeting locations for all fall sports and activities are listed below. Please use the west (commons) entrance to enter the building, as Booster Club representatives will be stationed in the commons. If you're unable to attend the meeting, please make alternate arrangements. Good morning. This is a reminder that registration for grades 7 through 12 will be today, tomorrow, and Thursday at the high school from 8-3. Students will be able to get their schedule, take their picture for the yearbook, and go through the process of getting their technology. Seventh and eighth grade can come today from 8 to 3 and also participate in seventh grade orientation at noon, freshman and sophomores can come Wednesday from 8 to 3 and juniors and seniors can come Thursday from 8 to 3. Students can come in one of the 3 days to fit their schedule.

Cross Country finished its second week of optional conditioning this morning. Pictured are Silas Williams and Hallie Trueblood. We will have one more week, July 13th through the 17th. Meet Coach Middleton out by the track each morning from 7am to 8am.

High School registration and yearbook pictures are scheduled for July 28th - 30th. Students are encouraged to come in on their designated day, but can come on any of the three dates if their schedule demands it. Please contact the High School office with any questions.
July 28th = Junior hiigh
July 29th = 9-10 grade
July 30th = 11-12 grade

Optional conditioning for Cross Country will be from June 29th through July 17th. Students will meet Monday through Friday each morning from 7 a.m. to 8a.m. This is for any student in 7th-12th grade that is planning on running Cross Country in the fall. Students will meet Coach Middleton at the track each morning. Remember to bring comfortable running shoes and water.

Interested in cheering for football this fall? Junior High Football Cheer tryouts will be held on Friday, June 26th from 1-3 in the elementary school gym. Please wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes! If you have any questions please contact Makynlee Jack.

Construction Update: Parking lot maintenance continues this week at Scotland County Schools. We appreciate your patience as we make enhancements to our campus. The project should be completed this week weather permitting.

Just a reminder, Basketball Camp for students entering third through eighth grade will be held on Tuesday, June 30, and Wednesday, July 1. Camp forms are available in the high school office. To ensure your camper receives a camp T-shirt, please return the permission slip and payment to the high school office no later than tomorrow at noon.

All graduating seniors from the class of 2026 have a class composite picture to pick up in the office, and all pictures that were ordered through Just Friends Photography are in as well.

It was great to see Charlee on the track one last time last night at Palmyra High School.  I was selected to represent  Missouri as the boys and girls coach and had the privilege of coaching Charlee one final time, along with the other Missouri seniors who were able to take time out of their busy schedules to compete last night at the Missouri vs. Illinois Senior Track Meet. Charlee put together an outstanding performance, earning: 1st Place in the Triple Jump 2nd Place in the Long Jump 2nd Place in the 100-Meter Dash 3rd Place in the Javelin It was great to see her represent Missouri so well and cap off an incredible track career with another night of exciting competition. —Coach Lucas

2026 Art Club Trip! What an amazing trip! Bittersweet as it is Mrs. Brown’s (Ms. Donaldson’s) final trip! Thank you to Matt and Tina Mckee for helping chaperone and donating funds to help with the trip and for next years expenses ! Also thank you to Waltedda Blessing, Leslie and Jeremy Austin and Jodie Jackson for chaperoning! It was a beautiful day!!

Congratulations to Lane Pflum, Cason Talbert, and Silas Williams on being named 2026 MTCCCA Academic All-State recipients in boys track and field. This well-deserved honor reflects their commitment to excellence in the classroom. Congratulations, guys!

The Baseball Banquet will be held on Thursday, June 4 at 6:30.

This is the Lost and Found table at the high school. It will be on display during office hours through Tuesday, June 2. After this date, all items will be donated.
