Tiger Cub Football Practice will be in the elementary gym from 5:00 pm until 6:30pm tonight. Tennis shoes and helmets only tonight.
There will be a SCAPP meeting Tuesday August 27th at 6pm in the High School Commons. All juniors and parents are encouraged to attend.
SCAPP Hog Raffle tickets and money need to be turned into the high school office by Friday August 30th.

Due to the expected high temperatures next week, junior high football will practice in the morning the week of August 26th through August 30th. Practice will be from 6-7:30am, and players should arrive at the locker room by 5:40am. Please make sure the players also have everything they need to be prepared for school.
The varsity football jamboree at Monroe city tonight will kick off at 6 o'clock sharp.

Tiger cub sign up and equipment checkout will be at the high school Sunday, August 18, from 2-4pm. Come in thru the commons doors.
Good morning. The fall parent player meeting will take place this evening. Varsity football parents and players will meet at 5:00pm in the football bleachers to hold their meeting. All other fall sports junior high and high school will meet at 5:30 pm in the high school gymnasium. Please enter through the west doors of the high school commons and stop at the booster club table to sign up to work fall concessions. Dr. Ragsdale, orthopedic surgeon, will open the meeting. If you are unable to attend the meeting alternate plans should be made with the head coach.
There will be a High School Student Council meeting Wednesday, August 14 at 7:00 pm in Ms. Slaughter's room.
- ALL JH Band members Monday 12th @2pm in the band room for instruments and uniform fitting. After that, you will head over to camp.
- HS Band members Tuesday, August 13th, all student athletes participating in fall sports need to be there for uniform fitting at 2 pm, so you can go to practices after camp.
- All seniors and sophomore non-student athletes will get fitted Tuesday; August 13th, after camp in the band room
- All junior and freshman non-student athletes will get fitted Wednesday; August 14th, after camp in the band room.
As August is quickly approaching, we wanted to make an update for Band Camp this year. All JH band will meet with the HS band on August 12th and 13th at 3:30 - 6:00. Additionally, any percussionists in the JH and HS band will need to meet an hour earlier at 2:30 in the band room to get fitted for harnesses and instruments. All other students are to bring their instrument to camp and are recommended to bring water and sunscreen as well as we will be outside for marching. Students who need to pick up an instrument from the band room should do so Monday August 12th from 2:00-3:00. Student athletes will have early dismissal from camp to attend their activities as required.
Band uniform fittings will be held before/after camp on the 12th-14th.
- JH will be fitted on the 12th at 2pm and afterwards head to camp.
- All HS Student athletes will be fitted on the 13th at 2pm
- All Juniors and Seniors will be fitted on the 13th after band camp.
- All Freshmen and Sophomores will be fitted on the 14th after band camp.
We ask that you stick with your fitting time to help make things run smoothly. Should you need a different fitting time, please contact Mr. Ratley so we can arrange a time.
The Scotland County R-I Elementary School will be hosting a “Back to School BBQ & Open House” on Thursday, August 15th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. for Pre-K - 6th students. More information will be enclosed in your upcoming student letter. If your assigned time does not work for you or your family, please let us know.

Junior high football camp has been moved to the mornings this week. Junior high football camp will be Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7 AM to 8:30 AM. We're hoping to have everyone dressed and ready to go by 6:45 AM.Thank you!
Tiger Cub Football Camp is tonight for students entering 4th through 6th grade from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. at the Tiger Cub practice field. Please send your kids with plenty of water and we look forward to seeing you tonight.
Registration for students 7-12th grade will continue today from 8:00 -3:00.
Seniors will also take their senior composite pictures.
