The bats came alive in the bottom of the second as our Lady Tigers scored five runs to take the lead heading into the top of the third.

Scotland County vs Paris Softball
The varsity softball game between Scotland County and Paris, originally postponed on Tuesday, September 23, has been rescheduled as a varsity-only contest for Saturday, October 11, with first pitch at 9:30. Please note that the Parade of Champions is also scheduled for that day, but the band will not leave until 12:30. This should provide ample time to complete the softball game without conflicting with the afternoon band activities.
After reading The Great Gatsby, Mrs. Kiger’s sophomores created board games in which they had to analyze the setting, plot, characters, and symbols of the story. Students had to come up with trivia questions and game play instructions as well, applying technical writing skills. Here are some of the results.
