Charlee Holland, competing in the Class 2 Girls' Long Jump, makes her podium debut with a seventh place finish. Charlee, we're proud of all you've accomplished this track and field season, and can't wait for next year.
In the final track and field performance of her high school career, Kwyn Hamlin secured a second podium as she finished seventh in the 200 meter dash. Congratulations, Kwyn, on an outstanding career.
Kwyn Hamlin, your Class 2 Girls' High Jump silver medalist. Kwyn cleared a personal best 1.61 meters (5'3.25") on her way to today's second place finish. This is a culmination of countless hours of hard work, be proud.

Deana McKinney - 13th place - 300 meter hurdles
Kwyn narrowly missed qualifying for the 100 meter final with a time of 12.92 seconds (9th place), the top 8 advance. Up next, prelims for the 300 meter hurdles for Deana around 3:20 and the 200 meter prelims for Kwyn around 4:30.

Congratulations to Vince Dale on his selection as the Freeman Financial & Insurance Player of the Game for his performance during an April 15 outing at North Shelby. The Tigers prevailed 11-3 in a conference matchup with North Shelby that evening. Congratulations, Vince.
