April 10, 2023 Scotland County vs Knox County Varsity Baseball 5:00 This will be a Varsity only contest. Again, there will be no Junior Varsity game.

The Scotland County High School Relays will be held this afternoon. To allow for safe loading and departing of our school buses, spectator parking will be limited to the west (student) parking lot prior to 3:45. Parking will be permitted in the south (staff) parking lot following the departure of our students at 3:45. Thank you.

Just a reminder that 3 pm tomorrow is the deadline for turning in carnival raffle tickets to be considered for the top sales. We would love for everyone to bring them in first thing in the morning! The Varsity/Junior Varsity baseball games between Scotland County and Canton, scheduled for tonight, have been postponed.

On Saturday March 18, Scotland County hosted the 54th annual Scotland County Invitational Scholar Bowl Tournament. The tournament contained 16 HS teams and 10 JH teams. We would like to show our deepest appreciation for the 50+ volunteers for working the tournament. The Scotland Varsity squad went 5-3 on the day earning 7th place. The JV team went 4-4 earning 13th place. Hallsville defeated Schuyler to claim the Barbara Campbell Trophy. The JH squad went 4-2 on the day earning 2nd place. Cohen Small was named captain of the JH All-Tournament team. Hallsville claimed the Sam Berkowitz trophy. This is a reminder that any eighth graders wanting to attend the field trip with Mr. Lucas this morning will meet at the west side of the courthouse at 9:20 AM. Students can attend, even if they did not turn in a slip to Mr. Lucas. The field trip will last around an hour and a half.
