The elementary tutoring program will begin September 19 and tentatively conclude March 8, 2023. Any student in grades two through six is eligible to attend tutoring one day each week on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Students will receive instruction and homework assistance in the areas of math, language arts and reading. Instruction will reinforce the methods used in the classroom and the grade level expectations used in our district. Extended Day is a voluntary student enrichment opportunity. This is different from the Extended Learning Opportunity (ELO) that will be required if your child (grades 3rd-6th) has late or missing homework. We are unable to provide transportation; therefore, you will be asked to make arrangements to pick up your child at 4:30 P.M. Attendance is very important as well. We ask that students attend regularly in order to be successful. If attendance is not regular, a letter will notify you of the problem, and your child may no longer be eligible. If school is NOT in session or is dismissed early, there will be NO tutoring on that day. Please watch the school calendar, or in the event of inclement weather, listen to the local radio station. If you have any questions concerning the tutoring program, please feel free to call the school. Please return the bottom portion of this letter no later than Friday, September 8, 2023 to your child's classroom teacher or the elementary office.

Touchdown Tigers!!! Hatfield plunges in from two yards out to give the Tigers a 6-0 lead. 2pt fails. Tigers recovered the ensuing kickoff and have the ball again at the Highland 37 yard line.
