Scotland County FCCLA invites all students in grades 9-12 to the 2024 Rose Dance on Saturday January27 from 7-10 p.m. in the Scotland County Elementary Gym. With the theme of "Dripping in Diamonds," we hope students will be able to join in the festivities of our winter semi-formal dance. Out-Of-School Guest Forms will be due to the High School Office by noon on Friday.
The FAFSA meeting scheduled for 1/24/23 is postponed. There will be another meeting rescheduled soon.

The varsity basketball games between Scotland County and Schuyler County, scheduled for tonight, have been rescheduled. We will now play on Wednesday, January 24. With this change, the junior varsity girls basketball game between Scotland County and Schuyler County, scheduled for tomorrow night, has been canceled. The junior varsity boys will play prior to the varsity basketball games. Tip time is scheduled for 5:00.

Scotland County is canceling school tomorrow (Tuesday, January 23). Some secondary roads improved significantly today but many are still patchy and slick which presents concerns about safe travel conditions. There is also a high probability of wintry mix overnight and in the morning. The forecast shows much warmer conditions beginning tomorrow afternoon which should allow us to return to our normal schedule on Wednesday. We are ready to be back in a routine. Stay safe and we are looking forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday.
