Junior Varsity Softball Scheduling Update
As this season has unfolded, Schuyler County has battled roster attrition. Their numbers have dwindled to a point where junior varsity softball is no longer viable. To reiterate, there will be no junior varsity game when we travel to Schuyler County on the evening of October 1.
A special thanks to April Wilson Casey Keim, Ava Little and Shannon Smith for coming into Careers class and speaking with the students about law, tractor sales and mechanics, banking and being a Conservation Agent.
On Saturday, September 14th, 5 students traveled to Hannibal after weeks of hard work and preparation and auditioned against schools of all sizes across the Northeast District for a spot in the NEMO District Honor Choir. We would like to extend our congratulations to Sadie Jackson for being selected to sing in the 2024 11th/12th grade honor choir and also to Kwayde Hamilton and Ciara Smith for being selected to sing in the 2024 9th/10th grade honor choir! These students will now be eligible to audition for the Missouri State Honor Choir. Please support these students on November 2nd as they perform at Moberly High School.
We would also like to celebrate all of our students who participated for their endeavour in what is a very difficult audition. The district audition is an extremely competitive one and requires much time and effort from the students. We are proud of all our students who took upon themselves this extraordinary challenge!

Junior Varsity Football Scheduling Update
With Clark County in need of a junior varsity game on Monday, October 14, we secure another opportunity to compete. The bus will depart for Clark County at 4:00, with kickoff scheduled for 6:00.
Reminder: There is a med club meeting today at 1:00 p.m. at the Scotland County Hospital Library.
The parent player meeting for the junior high basketball season will be Wednesday, September 25 at 6:00
