
Attention SC Tiger Football Alumni!! Mark your calendars for August 2nd and August 3rd!!! We are inviting you to celebrate with us for the weekend! Friday August 2nd we invite you out to watch and interact at our last night of Team Camp and then enjoy a BBQ with the team afterwards! Saturday August 3rd we invite you to an Alumni social starting at 6pm. There will be a meal provided and great company! This will be an opportunity to reminisce and support the future of Tiger Football!! Details will be advertised at a later time. We hope to see everyone there and can't wait to relive the glory days!!





The DAR field trip to the Revolutionary War Museum and the Arch will leave Saturday morning at 6 am. All meals will be paid for. Students will only need money for extras such as souvenir's and extra food or drinks. We ask that the students can wear something blue as a group and dress appropriately for the weather as it is forecasted to be a high of 70 degrees.

The Scr-1 Drama Club will present No Signs of Intelligent Life this weekend at the Memphis Theatre. Saturday night’s performance will start at 6:00 pm and Sunday’s performance begins at 4:00 pm. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at the door prior to each performance or in the high school office.

Miss. Hunt and Mrs. Rader did a collaboration today for Pi Day with her Geometry class and my second graders. Levi read a book about Pi Day to the class, second graders then filled out a worksheet telling what they learned and then we made crowns to celebrate!






High school parent teacher conferences will be tonight in the gym from 3:45-6:30pm. We look forward to seeing you then!!

Tickets for the SCR-1 Drama production will be available at the Memphis Theater Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. They can also be purchased in the High School office this week. Tickets are $5 each.

A big, thank you to Judge Webber today for the special behind-the-scenes tour for Scotland County. The tour consisted of several guest speakers, multiple courtroom, tours, sitting in on a sentencing, hearing, a visit to the Federal Marshal’s office(with a special visit from the bomb dog), multiple behind-the-scenes views, and lunch purchased by Judge Webber. This is always a special visit for our school because of our well respected tour guide Scotland County native, Judge Webber!






Scotland County Elementary PTO meeting has been moved from Tuesday, March 12th at 5:30 pm to Thursday, March 14th at 4:30 pm due to scheduling conflicts. Primary discussion will be focused on Spring Carnival planning so please plan to attend if you can!


"SCAPP will be meeting at 6:30 pm in the high school Commons area to discuss final preparations for the after-prom event. Your attendance at this meeting is both expected and appreciated. Prom is nearly here and we need everybody to help get us across the finish line! We look forward to seeing you Wednesday evening!

Drama Club members, Kennady Sapp, Emory Black, and Aria Mishra were guests on KMEM’s Coffee Break this morning. They were promoting their upcoming Spring performance. This year’s play will be held March 16 and 17 at the Memphis Theater. Saturday’s performance will start at 6:00 PM and Sunday’s performance starts at 4:00 PM. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at the high school office or at the theater on the evening of each performance.

The Social Studies department received a grant through the Daughters of the American Revolution. With this grant we were able to host a traveling history exhibit and a field trip. The field trip will be open for students 7th-12th grades. We will need this form back to either Mr. McCluskey or Mr. Lucas by March 8th to secure tickets. The tentative schedule goes as follows:

6:00 am- Leave School
10.00 am- Arrive at the St Charles Revolutionary War Museum
1:00 pm- Arrive at the Arch to eat.
2:00 pm-5:00 pm- Arch museum, tram ride and boat tour.
5:00 pm- Supper
9:00- 10:00 pm - Approximate arrival home time
At this time students will only be responsible for breakfast, snacks and/or souvenirs.

Scotland County Schools will be on a two hour delay today (Wednesday, February 28). School will begin at 10:00 a.m. this morning. There will be no morning clubs at the elementary school, breakfast will not be served this morning, and there will be no morning ECSE preschool.
