Ava Stott broke the junior high girls 100 meter hurdle record last week at our home meet with a time of 18.92 seconds.
The junior high track teams competed at today's Lewis & Clark Conference Meet from Paris High School. The Scotland County women posted a second place finish, narrowly (3.5 points) missing out on the conference crown. In a meet filled with stars, Kierstyn Moore was the brightest as she was awarded the 'High Point Girl' plaque in honor of her performance this afternoon. The men recorded season bests across multiple events on their way to a sixth place finish. There were many team and individual accomplishments to be proud of this junior high track season. What a ride.
Huge shout out to Probst Family Farms,(Greg, Kat, and boys), for bringing some baked goods for the junior high students to enjoy during their first day of state MAP testing!! Their support was greatly appreciated and enjoyed!!!
The 7th and 8th grade students are MAP testing this week. Please ensure students are charging their iPads at night before school the next day to ensure they are fully charged to take the state-required assessments.

Although just short of qualifying for sectionals (5th place), the 4x100 meter relay team of Charlee Holland, Braylee McBee, Deana McKinney, and Kwyn Hamlin broke the school record today with a time of 53.16 seconds. Congratulations on the accomplishment, ladies.

Vincent Dale has been selected to play in the MHSBCA Senior All-Star Series Game. The game will be played Saturday, June 14 at Southern Boone High School in Ashland. Game-time is set for 10:00 a.m. Players are nominated by their high school coaches and selected by coaches from across the state. Congratulations, quite the honor, Vince.
