Conditions at the softball field have progressed, but not to the point of justifying play. With that in mind, the decision has been made to move the varsity softball game to North Shelby. The bus will depart for North Shelby at 2:45, with first pitch scheduled for 5:00. I understand this decision isn’t ideal, but player safety is, and will remain, our top priority. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for understanding. The junior high will play as originally scheduled.
Quick update, the availability of the softball field is very much up in the air for this evening. Efforts have been made to ready the field for play, but time will tell. We'll closely monitor the progress of field conditions and attempt to make a decision that allows ample time for the field to respond, but also allows enough time for an alternate plan to be put in motion.
Thank you to Judge Webber for coming into Careers class today. He gave an inspirational presentation over his life path and how being from Scotland County affected it.
