Junior High Basketball Scheduling Updates *Milan has battled roster attrition within their junior high girls program this basketball season. Their numbers have dwindled to seven total between the two teams. In order to avoid a second outright cancellation for our seventh grade girls, Milan has agreed to play two quarters versus the seventh grade following the eighth grade matchup Thursday night. As a result, the schedule for the evening won't follow our traditional layout as the eighth grade girls will tip at 4:30. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for understanding. Please see the schedule below. Schedule 8th Grade Girls Basketball 7th Grade Girls Basketball 7th Grade Boys Basketball 8th Grade Boys Basketball *Kirksville will make the trip to Scotland County Thursday, December 12 for seventh grade basketball action. Tip time was originally scheduled for 6:00, game-time is now set for 5:00. Please take note of the time change. *The seventh grade girls/boys will be extending their seasons as both will be participating in the Schuyler County 8th Grade Basketball Tournament starting Saturday, December 14. Tournament brackets are expected to be released in the coming days.

A contingency plan for the Tri-Rivers Classic Basketball Tournament was set in motion with North Shelby's semifinal victory yesterday afternoon. With North Shelby's football team advancing to the state championship game next weekend, their boys are out of the tournament, replaced by the Schuyler County's junior varsity. As a result, the junior varsity boys game, scheduled for tomorrow night, with Schuyler County will be rescheduled. Attempts have been made to land a girls/boys junior varsity opponent for tomorrow night, but to this point, nothing has materialized. If an opponent is secured, details will be shared.

Schuyler County has just eight players within their high school girls program. With the low numbers, a junior varsity schedule isn't feasible. As a result, there will be no junior varsity girls game on Monday night, same applies to our January matchup. The boys will tip at 6:00.
