Lewis and Clark Conference Meet
The two junior high track teams competed at the conference meet today at Salisbury, facing strong competition. Both teams battled and earned a fourth-place finish. On the girls’ side, SIX new school records were set, marking an outstanding performance, while the boys’ team added to the success with one new school record of their own.

The Scotland County Lady Tigers had a great day today at the Putnam County Marcus Hounsom Relays! The girls added a few more personal bests, improving their district rankings as they prepare for next Saturday.
Our next meet is the conference meet on Monday at Salisbury.

After breaking the school record in the triple jump four times last season, Charlee did it again this afternoon with a jump of 34'5" at the Knox County Relays. Let’s go, Chuck. Congratulations, Charlee!

Friday, May 1st is Elementary Muffins for Moms beginning at 7:30 am in the elementary gym. Beginning at 11:30 am, we will start our 3rd-6th grade track and field day. If you plan to take your student with you following the track meet, you must sign them out with their teacher. This week is also our BOGO book fair! Stop in and stock up for summer reading! The book fair will be open Thursday, April 30th from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and Friday, May 1st from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. The Book Fair will be closed during the Elementary Field Day, but will reopen at the conclusion of the meet.
Also, Friday is the final day for elementary yearbook orders. Yearbooks are $17 each and may be purchased in the elementary office.

Congratulations to Finley Heine on signing with Columbia College to continue both her academic and athletic career in competitive cheer. Finley will compete as a member of the Cougars competitive cheer program, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for her. Best of luck, Finley!

At tonight’s Knox County Junior High Relays, Ali Ward set a new school record in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.24 seconds. Good work, Ali!

Knox County Junior High Relays
For the first time in six meets this season, the wind finally took a break, giving our athletes a well-earned reprieve. The result was a strong performance, with the two junior high track teams combining for nine personal bests and four team-best times across the six relays contested. On the girls' side, two new school records were set, and the team secured its fifth top-three finish in six meets.





Baseball Scheduling Update
Our baseball game scheduled for Thursday, April 30 against Milan has been canceled due to their need to reschedule a conference matchup. We've added a game against Kirksville on Thursday, April 30, with a 5:00 p.m. first pitch. The bus will depart for Kirksville at 2:45 p.m.
The varsity girls kicked off a busy week with a strong first-place performance at the Schuyler County Rachel Morris Relays!
They’ll be back in action Thursday at the Knox County Relays.
