Junior Varsity Basketball Scheduling Updates
*Scotland County will make the trip to Marceline Friday, January 3 for varsity basketball action. In addition to the already scheduled varsity games, we've added junior varsity contests to the slate. The bus will depart for Marceline at 3:00. Please see the schedule below.

*Knox County, like many others, is battling low numbers within their high school girls program. As a result, the junior varsity games, scheduled for January 20, have been canceled. The junior varsity boys will play prior to the varsity games Tuesday, February 11. Tip time is scheduled for 5:00. Please take note of the numerous scheduling updates over the last few weeks.

We came out on the short side of the scoreboard tonight against a superior team in Kirksville, but I can’t begin to express how much joy I got out of coaching this group of boys. They played their guts out on the nightly, and as a coach, it's so refreshing to get max effort from kids. Effort makes up for deficiencies in other areas and requires little to no skill, only heart and want to. Thanks for the ride, really enjoyed my time on the sideline this season.
