Scotland County R-1 School District

Head Varsity Softball Coach, Riley Lucas, from Scotland County High School presented a program to the members of the Rotary Club of Scotland County on September 27, 2022, at Keith's Cafe. Coach Lucas reported this year's softball team has 19 girls that dress out. There are six seniors and one of the seniors, Kina Billings, has signed to play college ball.  Coach reported the season's win-loss record, so far, does not reflect the very close scores of many of the games. The softball team will recognize their senior players at their home game against North Shelby after the varsity game on Tuesday, October 4th. Coach Lucas is pictured with local Rotarian, Lisa Doster.
