Students Learning That Entrepreneurial Spirit

Mrs. Ketchum’s FACS II Entrepreneurship Class enticed Dr. Bergeson to purchase stock in their class business, “Lotus and Lattes”.

Students in the class have a hands-on learning experience where they strive to begin and run a successful business, while learning economic and marketing principles, profitability, providing customer service and sales, and production opportunities.

While running their business throughout the school year they have the opportunity to make an initial investment and purchase shares with a potential to earn dividends at the end of the year if their business proves to be profitable.

So many teachable moments!
