Comments from Coach Weston Smith:

I am a true believer in defense winning basketball games, especially the most important ones. We want to play fast, play hard, and put resilient pressure on everyone we play. We are going to work hard to develop shooters, and build a basketball culture in Scotland County that everyone is proud of.

I love the game of basketball and would argue it prepared me for life more than anything else during my time in school. It’s how I met my wife, and ended up in Scotland County.  I am looking forward to the opportunity of working with the young men, and continuing to build lasting relationships in Scotland County.

Young athletes don’t get enough credit sometimes, and I would love to see each and every person in our community get behind the work these guys do, push them to be their best, and fill our stands loudly this upcoming season
