The Scotland County Ministerial Alliance (SCMA) will hold its annual School Supply and Backpack pick up this Saturday, August 12th from 4:00-6:00 pm in the front parking lot at the Memphis First Baptist Church. All area families are invited to bring their students out for this event. There will be games with prizes, cotton candy, snow cones, popcorn, giveaways, and more. ALL families with kids are welcome to come out and join in the Back to School fun, food, and activities. Remember all elementary students’ supplies are delivered directly to their classrooms but families do need to stop in and pick up a backpack if they indicated a need for a backpack during the sign up. Junior high and high school students will NEED to pick up their supplies this Saturday at First Baptist Church between 4:00-6:00 pm. Area youth 6th through 12th are invited to a Back to School BBQ hosted by First Baptist Church immediately following the conclusion of the Back to School Supply Event at 6:00 pm. BBQ, food, music, volleyball, outdoor activities and a movie at dark. Join with other area youth for an evening with friends, food, and fun. For more information contact one of the local pastors.
